Planning on buying a boat and need a mooring, where do I look for a rental or purchase?

I'd suggest posting this on both the VINow relocation forum and the classified section for better results as visitors won't be of much help.

You can't buy a mooring per say but you can buy the ground tackle. Then you have to apply for the permit with DPNR. located at the airport upstairs. If you want to put in your own then you put down anchors, get gps fix on where they are and a picture of your boat when you apply for the mooring. The area at this time they are allowing new moorings is Elephant bay, Water Island.
