I should be able to do both, but if I get sucked into "island time" and "beach time", hee hee hee, I might lose track of time and only have the time to do one. If you could do one or the other which would you chose??? Or is there something even better for views and a bar or whatever???

If it helps any I am not on a cruise ship, but only on STT for a couple of days before I head over to STX. Also, if it helps any, I have never been to the usvi, so I think seeing downtown CA would be pretty fun! But on the other hand mountain top looks neat....... I'm not sure what to do??? Oh, and I will want to do this by taxi/tour and I will be at Emerald Beach, so keep that in mind when thinking of ease of things 🙂

I guess in short the main thing I would like to know is what location do you think has the best views??? Then from there I can make up my mind on the CA shopping scene or not 🙂

THANKS!

Mountain Top / Sky Tram: Different views. Both spectacular. If you're doing an island taxi tour, do both + shopping.

If you're going to be on STT for a couple of days, why not rent a car and do both. The money saved by driving to the top of the Sky Tram will pay for the car for the day. How many hours do you think you'll spend at each of those attractions? You'll have plenty of time for the beach too.
