I am moving down to Saint John and am trying to find information on Long Term Rental. I would like to know about long term rentals, I have seen in Enighed 1 bed 1 bath or studio apartments for rent around $850 a month. Does this seem about average? Does anyone know of a property management company that runs long term rentals? Or if anyone happens to be going by Connections would you look at the board and let me know who is looking for a long term tenant, Thank you. I am easy to please, as far as accommodations go, If there is a space in an attic or storage building that can be converted to a living space I can convert it for them. Thanks again!

There are TONS of places to live on St. John right now. A real change from the past....it used to be very difficult to find someplace to stay before the economy tanked. The board at Connections is filled with long term rentals. One of the bigger long term rental companies is Scenic Properties, 340-693-7777. $850 for a one bedroom one bathroom is cheap, and even on the cheap side for a studio. I highly recommend that you do not commit to anything long term until you are on island and personally check out the properties. Do you have a job? Will you have a car?

Also, you may want to click on "Visit Relocation Message Board" , above right on this page. That site is loaded with information about moving to and living in the VI.;)

Great! A steady income and vehicle make living on St. John a lot easier!!! One thing about bringing your car down....if it is foreign made, you will get hit with a big fee. A friend of mine brought their car down and didn't realize their car was foreign made and once it got here they had to pay a big fee! Couldn't really send it back at that point 😀 Hope you planning goes nice and easy and we'll see you in 10 months or so. Oh, a lot of apartments open up around this time of year because we have a quite a few seasonal workers/residents who take off back to the states in late spring.

How close to Cruz Bay? Walking distance? What's your price range? I'll take a look at the board in Connections for you. You can also call Scenic Properties (largest long term rental management company for STJ) 340-693-7777
