I'm turning 30 this fall and want to rent a little villa for about 4 people around the Red Hook area. I've been looking at a million websites, but I'm getting frustrated and I need to let my friends know asap. I have some specific requests (pool, near the beach preferred, safe area, outdoor grill), but all in all I'm not too picky and I can't have it be too expensive. Does anyone know of a specific website or agency that can help do the searching for me since I do not know the area?

All of these are great websites and post photos. You can also contact the owners or property managers directly. Some even have reviews posted. Once you have something narrowed down to an area on island I'm sure that we can be a bit more informative and helpful.

Try the Point Pleasant Resort (www.pointpleasantresort.com)

or Sapphire Beach Resort.
