Does anyone have a rough idea what time they might shut down in the evening? Just thinking if you were arriving at the grounds around 4 or 5 p.m. it might be a quick place to stop for some good food to eat on your balcony the first night.

The plan is to beopen unitil 5:30 or 6. However so far they have completely sold out by mid afternoon. I am sure they will adapt pretty quickly.

Where are they located at Sapphire and what do they normally serve?

As you turn into Sapphire you turn right and he's parked on the left before the guard post. Greg used to be the chef at Old Stone Farmhouse, I believe it's predominantly BBQ. Drove past it on Friday and was tempted to stop but was in a rush - but it smelled delicious!

Yes, it does smell delicious, so I'm hoping to try it soon. Just hope they have good side dishes, because I'm not fond of coleslaw.

$13/plate all you can eat (on site only, not take-out). $10 per lb take-out. Right now, offerings are chicken, ribs, sausages. Sides are rice, beans, corn on the cob.

Stopped there twice last week while on island. Don't miss this new gem. Stopped the first time on our way back from Magen's- probably 4ish. Out of Pulled Pork, but my husband got some smoked Brats and Caribbean Caviar ( a delish corn, black bean, scallion, vinaigrette concoction). Next day, we stopped by around 1 and made it in time for the Pulled Pork- BEST I have ever had. The have a few choices of sides- I had a roasted ( aka baked) Russet Potato that was perfect seasoned with thyme and some other seasonings. Cole Slaw was also fabulous.

Does the small food stand that sold sandwiches, etc. from between 2 of the buildings still exist?

Thanks

Yes, the Banana Cabana is still there.

Glad to hear that the food at Off The Grid was good. My experience was unfortunately way less than stellar a week ago but maybe I just picked a bad day and made a wrong choice of food. I'll try it again some time but was really very disappointed.
