I do not want to bring my laptop on vacation (heaven forbid) and I wonder if Connections or others offer the ability to burn photo files to disc rather than having to bring multiple memory sticks.

Chris,

One caveat - a guy I worked with on vacation in a Hawaii used the same approach. Just get the photos burned to a CD or DVD. Found a camera shop that would transfer the pics to media. Here is the caveat… Make sure you visibility see the pictures or files on the media before you delete what is on the camera. He came home with 3 disc and no pictures.

Before last trip I got a little netbook. Very small and light and a great repository for photos.

Thanks for the advice Tom.
A friend suggested the picture hard drives. Don't mind going back with more but carrying things down with us seems counter to a relaxing vacation. Of course, not taking pictures back is a big negative (or not) also.

Sorry, not only was that last line 'elderly lame' as my kids would say but I was also showing my age with the out of date tech reference.
