Hello,

I would like to know if there are any pizza palors around Red Hook that serve it up thin sliced and greasy? That is my favorite kind. If not where is the best place to get pizza . I'm staying at Sapphire Village so some place close would be good.

senor pizza is right in red hook, under the warehouse (poor mans bar) and across the street from american yacht harbor. pretty good pizza and reasonably priced.

Where is the American Yatch Harbor? I have heard that place mentioned before on this site. Is it near Sapphire Village?

Never mind. I read it is across from Senor Pizza.

Dawn: Senor Pizza will deliver to Sapphire Village. Sopchoppy's is dine-in/take-out. Sopchoppy's advertises thin crust, but it seems to depend on the chef- different each time! (But good!)

DEFINITELY Sopchoppy's located in American Yacht Harbor. We make it point to go for pizza there every time we go to STT/STJ. It's better than anything we have here in St. Louis. And it's thin & greasy! Yum!

Caribbean Saloon has the best Pizzas in Redhook. But I think they only serve pizzas on the late night menu.

Sopchoppy's pizzas are pretty good. Nice outdoor harbor view. Drinks are priced pretty low.

Senor Pizza is my least favorite, but its still not bad. its greasy!

Thanks. I am a pizza lover but live on a low carb diet so when I have it, it is a real treat for me. Heck, I plan on having pizza often so I will try them both and possibly the late night place, The Caribbean Saloon too.

Dawn-

I too am a huge pizza fan. Here ae some of the other good pizza places outside of redhook.

STT -
Carrot Bay - Deanos Restaurant
Havensight - Pizza Amore
Hull Bay - Northdrop Restaurant

STJ -
Cruz Bay - Senorita Pizza

Enjoy

deanos has the best pizza on the island by far, but for someone just visiting, its a little out there, definitly worth it, but its pretty tucked away on the north side. it can also be a chore parking there.

Soppchoppys is my pick in Red Hook

However in downtown CA in Hibicus Alley hooked to A H Rise there is a little cafe (it is an italian name that I cannot remember - Maybe Cafe Amici?) which does some of the best brick oven pizza I have ever had. Little upscale for the greasy lovers, but some kinda gooooooood!
