Has anyone had any experience or knowledge of Pocket Yachts for a small (20-foot) power boat rental out of Sapphire Marina on St. Thomas? We will be staying on St. Thomas and want to spend a day re-visiting the North Shore bays of St. John. This location would be closer to where we are staying than using the dinghy rentals at Cruz Bay, but we've never heard anyone mention this company before. Any information would be helpful---

Thanks,

Dana

The boat rentals out of Red Hook have more appropriate vessels if there is any wind or sea whatsoever.

Thanks, exit---We have been thinking about the wind/sea conditions and the problem with trying to reserve something in advance. I would like to arrange some kind of a flexible date that can be changed if the conditions aren't good. We are also considering renting a dinghy in Cruz Bay, but are staying on STT and thought it would be closer to start from Sapphire. In any case, if we can manage it we'll go and if not, will wait until next time. Our back-up plan is to take the car ferry over and drive along North Shore or take the other ferry and take a taxi to Maho.

Thanks again for your help---all inside info is appreciated!
