One of my travelling mates has a 7am flight ouf of Stt on Sunday morning. First Ferry leaves STJ at 6am. She will obviously not make her flight. Is there such a thing as a water taxi or a private boat that would run her over to STT at (Yuck!) 5:30 in the morning?? I'm trying to convince her to change her flght.......

Many people in that situation spend their last night on STT at one of the more reasonably priced hotels. Carib Beach, Emerald Beach and Carib Inn are close to the airport, Windward Passage is right on the waterfront. Just a thought. Cheers!

Hi Red,

A few years back we had an 8 AM flight and were advised to be at the airport the standard 2 hours early. We took the water taxi to red hook and then a taxi met us and took us to the airport. We made it ok although there was actually a line for another flight that was leaving before us. Might have been that 7AM flight, I don't rememeber. If I had it all to do over again, I'd take the advice of STT Resident and book a night at one of the hotels on STT close to the airport. Much less stress and more sleep that way.

Here you go - minimum charge $175.00 and she will need to be at the airport by 6am at the latest so a 5:00am ferry from STJ and a taxi to the airport to be there by 6am. My advise as well is to stay at the BW Emerald beach 🙂
