hi all!
i have been down to the islands a few times and have stayed in villas and condo's. i'm looking into the possibility of taking a short trip, think long weekend. are there any places to stay that may be a little cheaper and not require the 4 or longer night stay? i'm in virginia so its doable to hop down on a thursday and hang for a couple of days and then swing back up.

any input is appreciated!

Cinnamon Bay or Maho Bay. Both lovely areas, great for short term "Hi-Bye" stay!

hey there,
Quick answer, yep it is very possible.
I did that very thing about a month ago - air on Delta was sooooo affordable - Baltimore - STT only $359!
Stayed at Serendip Vacation Condos in Cruz Bay.
Very affordable - all a/c, and ginormous verandas with views to STT to die for - good luck on your get away!

I haven't been on island for two years, so I don't know the condition of either of these, but you could try the Tamarind Inn -- The Inn at Tamarind Court -- or the St. John Inn. Both have web sites if you google them. These were both basic, rustic accommodations in the past with convenient Cruz Bay locations.

Have a great trip!
