I'm new to the board and I have a job offer on St. John's. I am looking for an apartment preferably near Coral Bay as that's where I'll be working. I am a single chef, mid-40's with no kids or pets so its for just me. I've been looking on this board as well as Craigslist but seems like most places are on St. Thomas. Any help or suggestions would be helpful. Thanks!

See top right link, "Moving? Visit relocation message board" and post on there and read all the moving information available as that's what that part of this website is all about. This part is for visitors. And you're planning a move to St John which has no "s". 😀

Thanks for the heads up. I've been trying to log on there but it's not letting me. I tried setting up a different acct but it keeps telling me invalid username/password.

Just throw Islander (the site moderator) a quick "help" email. You'll find the direct contact info under "Board Rules and Help" above.

Check the message board at Connections just up from ferry dock and try local STJ newspapers for rentals.
You can also try contacting a STJ Realtor to help you with your rental search.

You can call Scenic Properties and see what they have. They are the largest long term rental management company on St. John. Their number is 340-693-7777 I do suggest you find a short term rental and check things out when you get here before you sign a lease or commit to anything long term. Good luck!
