Does anyone know of a place that rents carseats for children on St. Thomas? We got our car through Hotwire and Avis only to find out that they can't add or change the reservation, so we have 3 kids that need seats with us and don't want to lug them with us if possible. Last year I believe that there was something called Caribbean Granny or something like that, but can't pull it up now. HELP???

I'd contact Avis directly. Once there, I'm sure you can add on the seats. You may almost need to make a second reservation, directly through them, for the seats.

I know lugging them can be a pain in the butt, and not to disparage any business on STT, but I'd bring my own. At least you know what condition it is in and that it's not been in any accidents.

Then again, I'm car seat crazy.

Of course, my 4 year old has been in 2 nasty wrecks and never got a scratch on her. The seats have saved her life twice.
