Hi,

I am seeing various open season times on different sites for Sandy Point. Does anyone know if Sandy Point will be open in the 1st or 2nd week of March??? Some were saying it is open until April and some saying it closes in March and I believe this site says it "could be open" in March, so I was just wondering if anyone knew for certain on specific dates it is open. THANKS! (and yes, I understand it is only open on weekends)

I just called the refuge directly to confirm, so an fyi if anyone else was not certain and was interested, they said they try not to close it until early April, although under some circumstances, such as heavy storms, they might have to close it in March.
