Live Music, dancing.... 🙂 We walked by on our way back from the beach, but we only had beach attire and coverups with us so we didn't stick around for it. Therefore, my only advice is make sure you have some decent clothes with you if you are going to be at the beach for the day and go right to the party. I may be mistaken and someone may have other advice?

We stayed at Sapphire April 18 to 25th this year. I was excited about the sunday beach party. THe band was good but the food was a real disappointment. $12 for a paper plate of bbq (2 ribs, chicken leg, rice and mac and cheese). We just stayed on the beach and listened to the band. Most of the people hanging out right near the band area were adults, 20s, 30s and 40s. Looked like a lot of single guys looking for a lady, and too few single ladies. If you like to listen to music and just relax on the beach it is fine (my kids are 8 and 10 year old, BTW). Bring a picnic lunch.

Folks:

It's a beach party!

Go and enjoy!......it's free.

The music is good....bring your own lunch & drinks (if you want).

If you want to dance.....dance.

We've always had a good time there.....and we're over 40....yikes, did I just say that?

F.I.

Hello,

Quick note... The beachfront restaurant/bar at Sapphire is closed and until they reopen the beach party is off. I called last week and the folks there didn't have a reopen date. I think this is a recent thing. If someone has more details on it feel free to chip in with that info.

The food isn't that great but it's not good at Disney World either, the drinks are good, lots of people and the music is usually very good. Quite a few locals come, I think I would keep an eye on the kids.

There was a contractual disagreement between resort management and the party who recently took over the running of both restaurants at Sapphire which resulted in the closure of both. And so another saga continues as "The Island Turns!" In the meantime, as Islander notes, the beach party is on hold.

That's too bad! I heard it was always fun. We didn't get to go when we were in STT, but we surely wanted to.
