Hi, my family and I are staying at Sapphire in a couple of weeks. For the past month I've been watching the sapphireinthesun webcam http://www.sapphireinthesun.com/ and getting very excited about our trip. But last Saturday it froze. No more updates. Does anyone know who maintains that webcam so I can contact them and find out if they intend on restoring it? I have dreams of writing in the sand and calling my family back home so they can see it.
Thanks for any help,
Suzy

It happens once in a while and whoever takes care of it knows about it very quickly and then someone has to come out and fix it. It usually doesn't take long so hopefully it'll be back up by the time you arrive. It was showing signs of an imminent meltdown a few weeks ago when the date was wrong although the cam was in real time. Enjoy your vacation at beautiful Sapphire!

Thank you for your replies. I will try to be patient and hope they fix it before we arrive. If not, my husband says he will offer to fix it for them when we are there. 🙂
Thank you to whoever is in charge of that webcam. It's a great service to those in the frigid northeast. 0deg this morning. Brrrrrrrr.....

The webcam at Sapphire is maintained by one of the condo owners. The original creator of the site sold their unit and took the password with him.
The GM, who you can find at unit F101 (the Association office) would be glad to have someone with expertise help out so the date and time can be corrected and the site quickly fixed when it freezes up.
The GM is currently working on it but it often takes awhile.

My husband is a computer guy and usually handy with that kind of stuff. Maybe he can help out when we are there on the 21st if it still isn't working.
