Tough question for all of you - but, here it is. If you could only pick either Skinny's or Miss Lucy's to go to - which would you pick & why? In other words, what do each of them offer that the other one doesn't. I am thinking that we will only make it out to Coral Bay once during our trip and am trying to decide between the two.

We will most likely be taking a taxi out to that end of the island. Will it be harder to get a taxi heading back to the west end from Miss Lucy's? It appears that Skinny's is smack dab in Coral Bay & transportation back west should be easy to get? Please let me know if this might be a factor in determining which restaurant to choose.

We are also New Englanders - which seems to give Skinny's the edge - but, we are intrigued by the local flavor/character that Miss Lucy's reputation seems to suggest.

Help!

This is easy. It will be expensive to take a taxi out to Coral Bay. You might want to consider the Vitran Bus.If you want a good cheeseburger, grilled chicken sandwich, etc. Then Skinny Legs might be the right place for you. However you can get good burgers and grilled chicken sandwiches in Cruz Bay and a lot of other places. Miss Lucy's serves excellent West Indian food (also available in Cruz Bay (and elsewhere) but in my opinion not the selection or quality of Miss Lucy's. Go out to Coral Bay enjoy your self and see what you are in the mood for. (It's a long way to go for lunch!)

I would do Skinnys. Hands down. Funny - we had the opposite problem , Even though we had a jeep we only wanted to go to Cruz Bay once.

If one stop, make it Skinny's. With apologies to Parrotheads...truly 'Cheeseburgers in Paradise'.

Me? I'd go to Miss Lucy's. I like the views. Oceanfront with great local flavors and critters.

Skinny's is fun, but not oceanfront.

The bus would be cheaper than taxi and you could do both.

Lunch at Miss Lucy's, and then a stop to experience Skinny's with a great drink or an ice cream bar for desert.

Whatever you do, remember you're in paradise and either is great.
