Even though this was just this last week, the days slide into one another in my mind. I will post photos and add info as I remember.

Stopped for a drink at the Green House restaurant after some shopping in Charlotte Amalie. I highly recommend a small family owned jewelry store named Bobby's Jewelers.

Magens Bay - awesome beach.

Here's a closeup of this yellow mansion on top of a mountain. It's my dream house!!!!

Rainbow at Magens Bay.

Megans Bay sunset.

After leaving Megans Bay this evening. Our rental car got a flat tire, and we quickly changed it before it was pitch dark. The following morning flat tire #2 showed up! Ugh!

This next morning we head off on New Horizon's sailboat for a day of snorkeling!

To be continued.....

Lauriebugg-

Great pics. They're so clear. It's so nice when two couples have found traveling harmony. Not everyone can travel well together.

The "mansion" in your pics over Megans could be your next destination - Star Garden - it's a rental villa. It's very new and sits at such a dramatic height over Estate Peterborg (in a super-exclusive gated community called Sydney's Fancy), aside form facing South (Megan's Bay), it also faces the north and east (St John and BVIs).

What you see in your pics is the rear of the house (surprise!) and the rear gallery. The main house contains no bedrooms. There are two other pavillions (the Chateau and the Cottage)....and a total of 5 bedrooms and 5 ensuite baths between the two.

Cant wait to read your Part III.

Oh wow - I'd love to rent that villa. Thanks for the specifics though I doubt I will ever be able to afford it. 🙂
