How reliable are the ferry schedules in St. Thomas and St. John?

Very reliable, but they are subject to change, so it's always best to check before heading out. Also, though the captains are excellent, if the water is extremely rough for some reason, it does take a bit longer (but I think that's all factored into the schedule).
