Hi all!
This may be a strange question, but I gotta give it a shot...I'm desperate...

I'm getting married in St. Thomas in February 2010 and I'm trying to find a guitarist to play at my wedding. It's on the beach at the Marriott and I can't seem to find just a single guitar player no matter how I search (I'm only able to search online). Does anyone know how I can find a lone guitarist to play at my ceremony? Thanks so much for any help anyone can offer!

On this website which I found when I was searching: http://www.islandweddingservices.com/extras.htm#music
they had a guitar player listed:

check out his website. Hope this helps.
We used a steel pan who was excellent.
good luck.

sapphiredaizy,
Are you going through the Marriott for your wedding? The should have done this for you!
Regardless, Chris Robberts is your man!
Congrats!

I would suggest also contacting Greg Kinslow; he is based on STJ but may also do events on STT. We got married on the beach in STJ 4 years ago; Greg played guitar on the beach and brought an incredible female singer along to accompany him (this was optional.) Later, he served as the DJ at our villa reception. He's an accomplished musician and did a wonderful job with everything.

Hope this helps and good luck with everything!

Thank you all for your advice!

Sherri: Yes, I am going thru the Marriott, but I didn't like their options or their prices so I wanted to see what I could figure out on my own...or actually what you guys could help me figure out 😉

Thanks again and I'll check out your suggestions! Happy Friday!
