There are several ways to get to Virgin Gorda from STT:

Speedy's Ferry Service takes an hour and a half - $70 round trip (adults)
Air Sunshine makes daily trips for around $250 round trip. You would then have to arrange taxis to get you to The Baths/ Bitter End, etc.

My suggestion:
Rent a boat through Nauti Nymph (or a similar company in Red Hook or Sapphire). It should cost around $500 for a full day rental plus gas and oil. A captain can be hired for an additional charge.

Enjoy your trip!

Bitter End/North Sound is a stretch to do on a day trip. One option is to take the ferry and a taxi, I've used Potter's Taxi before 284-495-5329. We've enjoyed BVI trips with Capt. John Brandi from Palm Tree Charters - he knows the waters well and has a smooth quiet boat that is easy on fuel.
