My husband and I will be visiting St. Thomas the middle of February and have looked into the following day sails: Fantasy, Winifred, and Captain Max. Does anyone have any comments on these three or experiences, good or bad, that you can share with us? Thanks,
Jan

All of them are very good boats with great captains and crew. They all go to the same places and have similar lunches/activities. The boyfriend is a mate on one of these boats and he also works on another which you didn't list, but is also a great boat with a great captain.
You can e-mail me if you want and I can give you more details. [email protected]

We have not been on these day sails but, have been on one on
"New Horizons". We had a good time but, these trips tend to be a bit crowded. In November, on our last trip to St. Thomas, we went on a smaller day sail on "Island Girl" with Captain Coy. He runs 6 pack sails. If you have others with you or meet people while you are there, you can split the cost. We had a wonderful time. He leaves from the beach at the Ritz, sails toward St. John, will cook lunch, play his guitar and, will even give those interested a little sailing lesson. With a smaller group, the trip is much more personal. Well worth the money. You can contact him for more info. (Captain Coy Theobalt 340-514-6866) If you are not able to reach him, post another note and we will look up his e-mail for you-have his business card tucked away somewhere but, had his # listed in the cell phone. Have FUN !!!!

We did the Captain Max Jan. 05 and loved it. We have also done the New Horizon's dinner cruise which fantastic. If you go to Tortolla the White Squall is an excellent day sail.
