Another question - any great places for Sunday brunch? Not just good food, but maybe some live island music or live jazz? that sort of thing.......

Thanks- Sharon

The best ones are at the Ritz in St Thomas and Caneel in St John(worth the trip over). The Marriott has a decent one as well.

I agree, the Ritz has a great brunch. It is a little expensive though...depends on how much you want to spend.

Okay - which resteraunt at the Ritz holds it? Do I need reservations? What about Caneel? same thing....

I'm not too worried about the price - I am on vacation after all! 😎

We are staying at the Cowpet condos, so I am sure we will do Robert's for lunch or dinner. But I was really looking for the live music thing. How about Sapphire Beach on Sunday afternoons? Are they doing the party there these days? We will be down mid-April

Thanks again for your input!

If you are at Cowpet, Robert's has a piano bar. Very fun to sing along! 😉

I am not sure which restaurant in the Ritz has the brunch but you do need reservations. Just call the hotel and they will help you.

Also, I believe the last time I went (3 years ago) it was $70 a person.

There isn't enough room in anyone's tummy to eat $70 worth of food at a brunch...that is outrageous! Ritz or not!!

Received notice today of Ritz Carlton's decision to discontinue Sunday Brunch. It will be availabe on special occasions only with the next being Mother's Day. Probably wasn't such a great revenue maker with a $75+ per person tab, ugghhhh.

If you are really not worried about the price - a private chef would be a fine solution in your villa and then --- Sapphire for music! If you must have music while dining during brunch look into a harpist or classical guitarist to play in the backround.
