Are there any surfing contests in the Virgin Islands?... or any organizations that run surf school or contests?

There's a store in Red Hook, Evolution Surf and Skate (or something like that), that specializes in boards and things related. I can't find their number in the phone book, though. Try google.

There is also a thread @ surfing over in the relocation board. There are contests in Puerto Rico. Caribbean surfers are very protective of their spots.
