Spent the last night back on STT in downtown CA at the Green Iguana. Very nice managers and room, especially after the rainy days on the eco-tents. The AC felt wonderfull. Went down to the shopping area via the 99 steps and enjoyed the walk, can't saw as much for the guys that constantly asked us if we wanted a ride back to the ship. I can definitly say I've never seen so many placing selling the same items in such a small area. Is there really enough business for the hundreds of jewelry stores? It was very interesting and quite easy to pick up all the items we needed, some really neat stores to browse around in. As we were told by the hotel managers, we walked back before dusk then spent our last night at Off the Hook in Red Hook. I had actually gotten used to the driving and parking by now and found I could park in front of a no parking sign as well as a local. Again as suggested we went to the airport at least 2 hours early (it was almost 3 hours) to experience customs for our first time. 10 minutes later we had cleared customs and security and were waiting for our plane. The only part of our trip we didn't enjoy was the plane rides, 12 hours each way.

Thanks again, Bob

Thanks for the great trip reports. You must live on the west coast also. I agree that the plane rides are long, but worth it!
