We stayed at Cowpet Bay East in a condo arranged thru VIP rentals for the 1st week we were in St. Thomas and then chartered a 43 ft Cat thru CYOA for 10 days, we spent the last night at the Green Iguana in St. Thomas.
The condo at Cowpet bay East was fantastic it had all the amenities you could ask for and reasonably priced. We ate at Ainsleys, Molly Malones, Pece, Betsy's Bar, Roberts and St. Francis Yacht Club. With the exception of Roberts we fond all restaurants very good. We had "grill night at Roberts and food was mediocre, over priced and their "specail dessert of eclair was not good. Best meal was at Betsy's the Snapper Francois.
We did a tour of St. John's one day and it was very interesting. I have been coming down to the VI's since 86 but always learn something new.
CYOA was fantastic. I don't understand why people charter in the BVI's, with CYOA you get off the plane, do a sleep aboard, and leave the next day. The service is great, the boats are well maintained and you can explore the BVI's, St. Johns and the Spanish VI's.
The Green Iguana was interesting, clean, nice folks running it, but not the best location. We were able to go next door to Blackbeards for drinks.
Weather was perfect, 15-20knts of wind, the 20% chance of rain never hit us. Self provisioned the boat at KMart and Plaza Extra. Great time, hated returning to a -3 degrees weather.

I tried looking Cowpet Bay East up on the internet but couldn't find anything. I have been looking at several places and haven't heard of this one.
Can you tell me, do they have:
Rooms that you can walk out of onto the beach.
Resturants and bars.
Maybe even a swim up bar
A/C
Gym
Some what of a night life?
Water Sports
Thanks for your help and glad to hear you had a great time.
I can't wait, it is a honeymoon that is 7 years over due and I've never been to a tropical place like this.

Try looking up 3 Tracy way cowpet bay east on the net and follow link to VIP rentals. The patio overlooks the beach and it is probably 20 steps down to the beach. Ainsley bar sits at the bottom of the steps. There is a piano bar at Roberts next door. The Elyiisan is next door to the condos and you have pool privileges there. The Elyisan also has water sports.
