Okay, so I've got my map. I'm planning to take my husband tonight. After reading here how much everyone loves it I decided we must go. It will be our first trip there. Two quick questions. Are they still doing open mike night on Wednesday? Do we need reservations?

Open mic is on Tuesday. "Down The Line" is advertised on Wednesday night starting 7:30 and I'm not familiar with them but Dick Solberg is now there Thursday through Saturday, I've never made a reservation, don't know if they even take them, but you could call them at 777-4552 to check on the schedule and reservation information. Since you haven't been there before, suggest you make a "dry run" during the day so you catch that second left turn which can be tricky in the dark! Cheers and have fun!

Thanks for the info STT. I guess we'll hold out for a Tuesday. Hubby's harmonica is wanting an audience lol.

When the fiddler is there you should get there early. He generally flays three sets. Each set gets a little more riskey as the night goes on. But he is the best!!!

Good advice from all. Don't miss The Fiddler. He's a scream and great musician. I bought his CD at Latt.-18, a couple years ago and play his AH song when appropriate at work.. All in good taste I might add. Sure is a great place and way to spend an Island Evening.

We were there on Monday with Barefoot Davis....really enjoyed it....the place was packed!

The food was good, but prices have increased......their $8.50 Burger is now $11.50.

Ouch - their burgers are always good but that does seem a bit steep. The times they are a'changing and I guess the price of the musicians has gone up. Hope they don't price themselves out of the whole scene - that would be a big shame. Times are rough and will get rougher in the next year but you have to be most careful about pricing and not chase away your locals. Cheers, and thanks for the heads up!
