Jen, would you mind giving us the name of the villa you stayed in...I think a lot of people would be interested in this information.

Thanks,

Cathy

Jen, what rental co did you go through? was it Catered to? 2B PeterBay was one that I was looking at & the management co really said it was GREAT! Now I am concerned. We are going in June & have booked Vida De Mar. Does anyone know anything on this villa? Any info will be appreciated!

Jen, did you make it to Woody's or JJ's Texas Coast. How about a trip report (even a shorty). What was your favorite thing?

We've stayed at the Gatehouse upper and lower once each when I die and go to heaven it could not possibly be any better. I see they have done some needed upgrades, namely a new hot tub. Woody's is great, as is Skinny Legs and Vie's Shack is unique, watch out for the chickens, they're alive!!!

on villa - catered to was good - they just need to do 'walk throughs " on homes better - not their fault about the construction BUT a/c and hot tub and other repairs could have been handled better. also not a good "greeter" - be sure you know you handle all our own luggage...great taxi service from St Thmoas airport is Wheatly nad great private water taxi is Dohms.

yes - went to both Woody's and JJs - breakfast at JJs is great! Woodys is fun at night. good food at Lime Inn, Balcony and ZoZos - best food was at Tage. also enjoyed Equator at Caneel Bay resort. Best snorkleing at Honeymoon Beach. Trunk Bay is good BEFORE 10 am and after 4pm.....Cinnamon Bay good in the afternoon as well for just swimming nad fun waves. Sunday Brunch at Coral Bay at Lucys or Aqua something is good....

Hello,
Has anyone stayed in or visited Hawksnest Villa? We've rented it for next winter but have concerns over much lower price than the others. I hoping it's just older - no pool, more basic kitchen, less electronics, etc. The view and location seem great.
