Can I take a car onto Water Island and if not is there a place to park a rental car at the STT dock?

The ferry does not take cars.
Park at Crown Bay - the cruise ship port or the Marina for the day. A longer or overnight will require a permit from the Marina or port.

I would clear it with the marina before I parked there. They have recently cracked down on parkers, even booting long-time residents. If you thought the ferry might take a car you'll smile when you see it.

Brad, who is the Captain/owner of The Saint will take cars or vehicles & cargo over on his barge on Tues. & Thurs for a fee. B'ut if you're renting a house on Water Island, it is likely that the owner of the property will provide transportation on Water Island. If you're staying on WI for a week (or so), I would recommend taking the dollar/safari taxis or 'sanctioned' taxis or renting a car from Cowpett or Amaiia car rentals (within walking distance from Crown Bay Marina).

I have no idea. Frankly, if you're coming over to Water Island for the day just come over on the people ferry. If you're staying on Water Island, the property usually offers transportation.
