We will be arriving to St Thomas in Feburary and I have heard that Water Island is a fairly quiet place to go. I was wondering if anyone has spent some time there and is there a specific beach to go to, if so there aplace to rent paddle boards and a bar along the beach. Thank you in advance

Water Island is a great place to go. Come over on the ferry (ferry schedule on this site). Usually there is a safari truck waiting at the ferry landing to pick up visitors who want to go to Honeymoon Beach. Or, it is a short walk to Honeymoon Beach. Lounge chairs are available for no additional charge from either Dinghy's or Heidi's Honeymoon. Both Dinghy's and Heidi's offer bar & restaurant. There are palapas that offer shade. There are 2 residents on Water Island that rent golf carts for the day in case you want to explore Water Island further. Have fun!
