We are heading to STT in 3 days...weather does not seem to be good. Checked most of the weather sites and they state scattered showers and cloudy...does not seem to be a good forecast. It seems that it showers pretty much every day at STT. Does anyone have any news regarding weather over at STT from Feb. 6th - 7th???

Regards
KIVA

Our weather reports always say "scattered showers". Forget the weather reports. It rains almost everyday...but only for 10-20 minutes....then it's back to blue skies, sunshine and rainbows, with a cool, Easterly trade-wind breeze at 5-10 kts, and a high temp of 85 and a low of 72. That can be expected for your time, as well.

Thanks Marty...10 - 20 min rains do not seem too bad...it's better than the cold here. Looking forward to our vacation in 2 more days for some sun..hopefully and some overdue relaxation. Hopefully the Marriot is nice as everyone here stated. Looking for some nice snorkleing places and some uncrowded beaches.

Marty...a few questions since you live there...
1) Good place to see the superbowl game.
2) Good places to eat.
3) Good bars to check out.

Regards,
Kiva

Kiva,

Some good places to see the game are (Shipwreck, Green House, Carribean Saloon, Molly Mallones)

The shipwreck has some of the best burgers on island and the bar food at Carribean Saloon is great. Pick up a tour book when you get off the plane and it will tell you whats good. Also while relaxing in your room at the marriot check out the VI visitor channel that explains what to see, where to eat, what to do...

The Green House on Tuesdays is 2 for the price of 1 with a DJ starting around 9:30.
A define must see bar is Duffy's Love shack on Wednesdays and weekends. It can get crazy there.
Thursdays is Offshore Bar ladies drink $2 wells, and it tends to get crazy there.
The pour mans warehouse next to duffy's you pour your own drink!!
But you never know lots to do and lots to see. Enjoy your trip!!

Really? The Poorman's Warehouse is no longer that dive bar I used to bartend at years ago? What is the name of the pizza place? Did Zack take it over? Do you know Gary who was the manager there? What happened to all of the regulars?

Thanks!

Mercy,
Yes, Zack from Speedy Pizza.

Lip,
The pizza place was not below the Warehouse, it was a few doors down, on the other side of the gas station. Maybe you're thinking of Wok and Roll?

Lotsa work going on in that area. I haven't walked in, only driven by, so I can't answer with any surety.
