A friend was on St John for his son's wedding, somehow he came across the black chickens, he has a "hobby farm"& he actually bought some of the chickens and had them shipped home!! I want to know just how much he was charged & is everyone laughing at Mike? I just shake my head every time I think about it...in all of our stays at Sapphire Beach I never thought about introducing the chickens to the main land ! I think they were at Hawks View ? Their Son is a Dr and is at a Chicago Hospital , he is a Dermatologist and has the whitest skin I have ever seen, I guess if we saw all he has, we would stop tanning

Hey, he could have had all the chickens he wanted for free! Just look everywhere on all 3 islands and help yourself!
Sorry he got fleeced into paying for something most people are happy to get rid of, at any cost.
Now this my not be to everyone's liking but my motto after having to deal with these pests invasion on my property, from time to time, over the last couple of years Is: Chickens belong in the oven, not in the yard. Double ditto for those pesky and noisy roosters!
Wish the Government and Agriculture Dept. would get their act together and take care of this soon to be epidemic proportions problem as well as cleaning up the unsighly amounts of garbage on our roadsides.
