My fiance and I are getting married at Hawksnest Beach on St John. We'd like to find someone who can marry us without going thru a wedding planner, in an attempt to save a few dollars to use on our honeymoon. Any suggestions?

We are doing the same thing - wedding at Hawksnest! We are using Anne Marie Porter ( http://www.stjohnweddings.com/). She's fantastic.
Congratulations!

Hi, Can you tell me if you're using Anne Marie Porter with a wedding planner or w/o a planner? If you have never been there Hawksnest is absolutely beautiful and a great place for your wedding. I checked out all the beaches that were convenient to Cruz Bay and found that one to be the best. Congratulations to you as well. Tom and Sandy

No planner for us. We want to keep it small and simple. A few close friends, family and a party in town afterwards. That's it!

Let me join this club! We too are planning a wedding on August 3rd at Hawksnest Beach w/Anne Marie- and no wedding planner. I'll share an idea that might help you as well. I am using our own personal web site through www.theweddingchannel.com to communicate with our family and friends, as everyone won't be joining us. There is a place for you to share your story, have your guests sign your guest book, RSVP attendance, and get information on the island and your event plans. It's a simple and FREE way to announce your plans and share with those who may not be able to attend your wedding as well as those who will. Let me know if you need any help in using this site.

Wow another similarity - we too have a website for those same reasons! Not through the Wedding Channel, but still. Very easy and convenient way to keep everyone informed!
