We are staying in a villa near the Westin in May and was wondering if the Westin charges a daily fee for the use of their pools/spa.

As far as I recall, they do have a daily fee for their spa that includes use of their pool.

There is a fee, I want to think it's about $20 dollars a day but if you take the timeshare talk, ( 1/2 hour, no pressure at all) they will give you $75 to spend at Snorkels (poolside grill) or the Westin Deli, or a rental car for the day and let you use the facilities for free.

In addition, whether you buy a timeshare or not tell them your thinking about it and ask if you can spend another day using the facilities.

They are usually more then happy to have you.
