Good afternoon, Has anyone stayed in a 1br townhouse? If so are they nice and what buildings are they in? Also are there any problems with the construction on property? Thank you

Rodney -

We stayed in a 2 BR upper/lower townhouse in April. Very nice/comfortable. Fully appointed with all you would expect...beach towels, major/minor appliances, etc. We had no complaints at all. 1 BR's are spread across several buildings.

We had no problems with construction - there wasn't any that I noticed on the grounds. Nothing outside the grounds was close enough to notice. It's a good walk to the beach and pool, but you really don't want to be there anyway...so many good beaches on St. John there's no reason to spend any time at the Westin beach...except maybe late in the day to cocktail by the beach and watch the sunset.

FWIW

We will be staying in a 1-br next week (7/15-7/21). I know many of them have been remodeled recently - very nice granite counters, etc. We have stayed in a 3-br and thought they were very nice; only downside is that there is no view. I will fill you in when we return...

We stayed in building 34 - the 1 br Villa was very nice. Had a full kitchen, washer/dryer, nice living area and balcony. Upstairs was like a loft, with a 2nd bedroom. Didn't see/hear any construction at the Westin, but also did not wonder around much as we had a car and left everyday.....

Let me know if you have any other questions.....

Rodney,

The updated one's are fantastic and the one's that need updating are nice as well. The one's that need updating are just that - slightly older appliances, decor but still very nice. All of them are located in the four hillside villas. Hope that helps

Rodney,

I can tell you it was either 31 or 33. A few years ago building 31 or 33 was completed. In addition, many of the 3 bedrooms are fairly new.

Hope this helps

I always track them on eBay and on occasion you can get a fair price. Some people ask ridiculous amounts but some are more than fair and a good way to get in at a desirable resort. Good Luck.
