What to wear in STT?

We're flying to STT on Monday and are trying to finish packing. What is general dress code there? I've read that mostly sundresses, shorts, tanks and tees? If we want to go to a nice dinner , is more formal attire required? THanks!

No. Nice shorts and a collared shirt for men is about as formal as it gets here. In the extreme long pants and closed-toe shoes.

as little as possible! And make it cotton.

Shorts, T's, sandals.

I think the dress code is pretty casual. Women usually seem to be well dressed no matter what. I have to say, I don't know why on earth men of a certain age feel that tank tops are okay at any time, but especially after the sun sets! Buy a fun tropical shirt while you are here, add a nice pair of shorts or the khakis you wore on the plane and you will be a fashion plate! 😉
