Hi everybody.

I'm new to this board, but have had great fun reading the posts. I'm planning my first trip to ST. John in August for my wedding and honeymoon. I'm so very excited and just can't wait to get there and see for myself what you've all been describing. It sounds like paradise.

My fiance and I are searching for a villa, and have about made ourselves nuts in the process! There are so many that look great. So confusing. 🙂

I see many people have asked about specific villas, so I thought if some of you could post about villas you've visited and what you liked or didn't like about them, it might help those of us looking for one.

I second that. Windwardside main house was wonderful. Lots of room and a great location in Coral Bay. The views are breath taking.
The garden shower was the best!

That view from Calabash boom and the various cottages is the most beautiful view on the planet IMHP. I can just sit there for hours and watch the boats go by, watch the birds, see the rain showers coming toward me over the water. At night, you can see the lights on the east end and over on Tortola. The breeze will blow and the scents and sounds of the night add to the magic. I just sit there and BREATHE! It's so special. Someday, when I am rich (HAHA) I am going to buy a piece of land in Calabash Boom and build me a big house there, and invite all my friends down. They can fall in love too. (Maybe I'll just buy the CASTLE.)

HAPPY MOON...the name says it all!!! Unbeliveably reasonable, high on a cliff above Coral Bay...touch the stars....the only place we ever rent!
