My wife, son and I leave in 23 days for STT. I think except for a few clothing items, we're about ready. We're staying at Crystal Cove on Sapphire Beach and the plan is to ferry over and spend at least 3 days on STJ.

We're also planning on a day trip to VG and I've looked at NHII, Limnos and Stormy Petrol and as far as I can tell, they all offer some of what we want but not all. We have decided against going to JVD. I know the beaches are supposed to be outstanding but the bars aren't really our thing.

What I'd like to do is visit VG, stop at The Indians and The Caves. Does anyone know if there is a charter that will go to these three places for about the same cost as charters I've mentioned? Or, are the snorkeling stops that are mentioned on the websites for the three charters comparable? Any thoughts?

This Monday will be 11 weeks since we applied for passports and the State Dept. site says they're in process. It's time to call my Congressman I guess.

I've loaded up on Deet, mosquito coils, sunscreen and Avon SSS. Will SPF30 sunscreen be adequate?

Still waffling on snorkel vests.

Thanks

I second "Lion In Da Sun"!
We chartered them for a day and Josh (co-owner w/brother matt) was a wonderful captain and let us plan our own day trip to the BVI.
contact them by going to their website at: http://lionindasun.com/
Have a great time!

We chartered a boat with Ocean Runners on our recent trip (May 5-12) for a day trip to BVI. Capt. Joel was wonderful with the 5 and 6 year olds on our trip. We had 3 adults and 2 kids and really didn't want to do one of the larger charters with groups and set itineraries. Joel was great at making suggestions on where to go and incorporated our wishes into the day. A great time and about the same total cost as one of the bigger boats like New Horizons, etc.
