Ok all, I know we've all added our .02 on our favorite restaurants to this thread and that thread...but I need to ask again. I'm going down next week and will NOT have the full entourage of family and friends I normally bring, so I can splurge a little more on dining experiences (and plan to!).

So, please list your top 10 favorites, tell why, and suggest something from the menu. No matter how fancy or how casual.

STT and STJ....

THANKS!!! I promise full, detailed reviews when I return.

EE-
Robert's is on the "must do" list....so much great feedback on it.

As for martinis, I've recently discovered the lure of Godiva Chocolatinis....my dessert and libation in one 🙂 Twice the fun!

Ok, Larry is tempting us with Virgilio's veal saltimbocca (a personal fav of mine) and tiramisu (which would really compliment the chocolatini, than you very much).

Dare I replace Agave Terrace with Virgilio's?

List is....

Banana Tree Grill
Herve
Havana Blue
Room with a View
Robert's
Rhumblines (STJ)

Ok, wait, that's 7 with Agave or Virgilio's and I don't have that many nights. Ok, will have to have a few wild cards. Let's consider them all a "possibility" and see where the cards fall depending on mood, weather, laziness, "tipsy"ness (just kidding.....maybe).

Bluwater - Try equal parts of Vanilla Vodka, your Godiva Liqueur, and Bailey's Irish Cream and pour into a martini glass swirled with Hershey's Syrup. Very sinful and a good way to blow a diet!

East Ender- I just moved Roberts to my must visit list. Where is Randy's?

Randy's is at the top of Raphune Hill, in the complex with Mango Tango and The Paint Depot. During the day, it is a power lunch spot for local business and government types. At night, it becaomes a bistro. Wonderful food and because Randy got his start selling wine, you can choose your bottle and get charged corkage only. I love the rack of lamb. I think a lot of visitors overlook it because it is not by the water. Randy has a loyal local following. 🙂

Was on STT in January and really enjoyed:

-Indigo -- Magen's Point: Sea bass good, filet mignon excellent.
-Off the Hook -- Red Hook: Great! All items extremely fresh. I had salmon that was absolutely great.
-Old Farmhouse--Mahogany Run: Great martinis (watermelon and apple). My party shared a delicious appetizer but can't remember which -- maybe spring rolls. Had stuffed porkchop, scallops, and salmon entrees -- all very, very good. Dessert -- ginger, mango sorbet (!!!), pumpkin creme brulee (!!!)
-Alexander Blue -- Frenchtown: Mediterranean. Huge, fresh salads; good pasta dishes; nice fish.

Really didn't enjoy--Mim's
