My wife and I honeymooned on St. Thomas in April 1987. We stayed at a location near Red Hook called Sea horse Cottages. It is above Secret Harbor. We will be staying on SJ next month and want to revisit. Does anyone know the name of a new operation, assuming it is not the same name?

Also we visited a place on the water front in Red Hook called Horsefeathers. Again, assuming it is not the same, what if anything is in it's place.

Thank you.
Jerry

Can't remember the new name for the old Sea Horse Cottages.
They are quite different now but same location.

Unfortunately, Horsefeathers is long gone but you might try Latitude 18 out on Vessup Point which has a similar vibe and on the water. They're open for lunch and dinner and have live music regularly in evenings. It's right across the Bay from where the ferry comes and goes.

It's Paradise Cove now and completely different from Seahorse!

Be prepared for a big shock when you see Red Hook. The quiet little haven has turned into something more akin to a seething metropolis!

Thank you! It's been 30 years and I'm sure much has changed. Plan on a 1/2 day in Red Hook and then back to St. John

Am sure there will be change. It's been 30 years. Back then thought Charlotte Amalie was a dump with too many cruise ships. Not much out on Red Hook but I'm sure it's changed and not for the better!
