Hello!

My parents are renewing their vows on STT in 3 weeks and my brothers and I are flying in to surprise them. They will be taking a cruise and docking in STT on a Wednesday. The renewal ceremony will take place at Paradise Point Gazebo. Can anyone recommend a restaurant close by for a mini reception? We want an upscale place with a GOOD BAR! (my mom is a vegetarian but she does eat fish) I found Herve restaurant online which looks great but any local suggestions would be appreciated. My brothers and I will be flying in Monday afternoon so we have sometime to sightsee and check out some places before we make our final decision. So any recommendations about must sees on the island would also be helpful. We're staying at the Marriot Frenchamns Reef. Thanks in advance for the help!

Abs: Is this for lunch? You might check out Randy's on Raphune Hill- kind of upscale businessman's lunch with a great bar. Also, Bella Blu or Craig and Sally's in Frenchtown. I don't know of a place in St Thomas that DOESN'T have a great bar. 😉

Sorry- I should have clarified. The ceremony will take place at 12 and they have to back on the boat by 5 or 6.

Hello,

Herve's is a good choice. With the ceremony at 12, you have time to take a taxi to downtown Charlotte Amalie (where Herve's is located) and enjoy a nice lunch/drinks. Get in touch with them to arrange something special, seating with a view...
