Okay, football fans: we find that we will be in St. Thomas on February 3rd. We are staying in Charlotte Amalie. Where would be the BEST place to watch? I'd prefer a beach bar and my husband wants the biggest screen, of course!

The Caribbean Saloon in the American Yacht Harbor. Several big screens and it overlooks the water!

Hello Lynne,

If your husband and you want the funnest party, as in folks cheering for their perspective team, t-shirts promoting their team and lots of hooting and cheering when teams are winning. Then try Greenhouse. The tvs are small but the place is fun. If you want a big screen less party then Ronnie's recommendation is good - the Caribbean Saloon. Although Caribbean Saloon looks over the water, no beach bars. So you might not enjoy it as much. But your husband will, there will be football!!!

Where do you recommend we watch the Super Bowl in St John?
Staying at Maho Bay and get the impression that might not be the best place or maybe there's not even a bar there.

Lynne,

For beach front viewing of Super Bowl - try Bolongo Bay. I saw an advertisement for a Super Bowl Party and Viewing at the Beach front bars there.

On St. John, Bobby - I would imagine one of the bars in Cruz Bay would be your only option. I don't know about Maho having a bar or TV.

Today I saw in the local newspaper the listing of Budweiser co-sponsored pre and post game parties. And the locations are Greenhouse, The Old Mill, Offshore Bar, Sunset Cantina, Besty's Bar, The Grill, Caribbean Saloon, Tickles, Iggie's at Bolongo Bay. - Those are for St. Thomas. And then on St. John the advertisement says Woody's which is in Cruz Bay. Hope that helps you folks.
