means... we have a hotel stay on St. Thomas for 3 weeks and like to have some daytrips in the Caribbean.
Start in the morning and back in the evening.

Interesting are reachable destinations (islands), airlines (names), ferries (names) etc.

Born to Rhumb is a great way to go for a day trip. Captain Kevin is very flexible and has a very nice boat. He will pick you up at 8 and you're back by 5...after customs.

Check him out.

look into the ferry rides to Virgin Gorda or Jost. But you may need to have a passport. There are one day events. Also go to St. John for a day and go to Trunk or some of the beaches over in Coral Beach.

I second the Born to Rhumb trip. Link here www.borntorhumb.com. Kevin is out of STJ, but he can pick you up at the National Park dock in Red Hook STT. You can set your own itinerary with him, so great ideas are Baths at Virgin Gorda, Jost Van Dyke (White Bay - Soggy Dollar) and Sandy Spit. All do-able in a day. You can also go to St. Croix or Tortola for the day by air for sure (AA has flights) or by ferry. The link on ferry schedules is at the top of the webpage.

I third the "Born to Rhumb" suggestion. Did a trip with Kevin and his first mate Stephanie last summer and had a great time. Just be careful about the painkillers he serves!! Whoa - great stuff!! 😉

Hello Coppy,

For day charters check the St. Thomas and St. John Activities pages. Numerous boats listed. If you scroll to the top of this page, and choose the tab for an island, a drop down menu appears and you can go to the Activities section.

Check Cape Air http://www.flycapeair.com/ and Seaplane http://seaborneairlines.com/ for various inter-island routes.

You can take a ferry to Water Island. Check the Water Island tab for information.

Hassel Island can be visited with a tour http://islandtreasuresvi.com/.

You can do an aerial tour; http://www.aircenterhelicopters.com/ or http://www.airventuresinparadise.com/ or Ace Flight Center (340) 776-4141.

Yeah! Islander mentioned Water Island. Super for a day trip. Heidi Honeymoon Grill serves up burgers, chicken, vege, etc. sandwiches each day. Sometimes she has Curry Chicken Salad which is yuuuuummmmmmy. She also sells drinks in case you don't want to carry a cooler although you only have a very short walk to Honeymoon Beach/Water Island from the ferry landing so cooler, beach chairs, noodles, etc. are all do-able to carry such a short distance. Honeymoon is calm, beach is sugar white sand, cocount palm trees and palapas on the beach if you need to chase some shade.

Coppy, born to rhumb will let you set your own itinerary, as long as it's safe. They don't just go to the places you mentioned.
