Who's going to be in St. John the first week of June? Our dates are May 28 - June 8. Staying on the Coral Bay side.
First timers, so the boards have been so valuable. Thanks everyone.

We won't be there until July but make sure you go to Cruz Bay and see the Panorama during carnival. They haven't posted the dates yet but it is usually during that week. Competition between steel pan bands of all ages and abilities from across the caribbean along with local food vendors, arts & crafts, etc. If you like traditional steel pan music, you'll be in heaven. Only sorry we are missing it this year.

lbrlwyr, good to hear from you. we shouldn't be too far from you guys, probably run into ya'll at skinny legs are someplace. get to say hi and buy you a drink or two.

checked out that house...wow...we're staying at orchid knoll...i think we'll like it a lot also...i'm already looking for one w/ an open pool view like yours for next year!

my wife and i have a boat rented w/ flyaway charters for june 1 to go to virgin gorda, (the baths), the indians, the caves, lunch on the willy t, and whatever else we can fit in. maybe a stop on tortola to be w/ that crew over there.

the boat's kinda big for two people, so we're open to bringing another couple or two for the snorkeling and exploring the caves and we can all split the expenses. just thinking out loud. we're good either way. i think the big boat day is going to be a blast no matter how we go.

TTOL crew, hope to see ya on the island.

(sheepishly raising hand as someone who might be there)

Just had the "meeting" with the summer visit crowd that I bring down. We usually go in late August.....but this group, because of college students planning to attend, feels that we need to go soon after school lets out in the Spring since school starts early in August and Sept.

I think we're looking at first or second week of June as a start. Have to find a villa! Sheesh - not much time!

Hmm....anyone interested in sharing a private charter to the BVI's, Caves, etc during the week of 6/2-6/9. My group of 4 (in coral bay) is looking to cut the expenses of renting a private boat/captain for the day and could use another 2 or 4 people to join us. Our groups is mostly 30-35 yrs old, interested in hitting Baths and snorkeling stops, and maybe grab a few drinks afterwards. We were going to private boat route since we didn't like some of the "booze cruises" out there...

Anyone interested...feel free to PM or email me.

My 40th birthday is at the end of May, and I have decided that I want to do the villa thing on St. John. Having stayed at the Marriott 3 times in one year, I'm over it.

We might try the first week of June timeframe.
